What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding

Safeguarding means protecting people’s health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. DBC Training believes that it is always unacceptable for learners and employees to experience abuse of any kind and recognise its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all by a commitment to embed practices that protect all. DBC Training recognise that: – The welfare of all is paramount – All people, regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation or identity, have the right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse. In order to help us to achieve this it is essential that anyone coming in to DBCs premises or in to contact with our learners and employees, respects and adheres to our guidelines.
