The Level 3 certificate in Understanding Mental Health, awarded by NCFE CACHE is designed increase knowledge and understanding of mental well-being. You will develop and in-depth knowledge and understanding of mental health, support, services available and people’s attitudes towards it.

This is a knowledge only qualification; therefore you do not need to work in a healthcare setting. The programme is assessed via a portfolio of evidence which will be reviewed by DBC’s delivery and quality team.

  • Aged 19 or above and are unemployed or earn below £25,000 annual gross salary

  • Live in a non-devolved region in England
  • Full eligibility check at enrolment

There is a £99 + VAT cancellation fee if you enrol and do not complete or withdraw from the course. This fee is to cover administration costs.

If you meet the eligibility criteria our online courses are offered fully-funded. There are no hidden costs.

Our team will complete a full eligibility check prior to your enrolment. Our level 3 online courses are fully-funded if you are: live in a non-devolved region in England, have the right to live and work in the UK, have been a British/EU citizen for the last 3 years, aged 19 or above and are unemployed or earn below £25,000 annual gross salary, aged 19 to 23 and have not achieved a full level 3 and earn above £25,000 annual-gross salary.

Enrolling is a straightforward process. Simply find the courses you are interested in, select ‘apply now’, and fill out the necessary information. Our team will then be in touch to guide you through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into our online learning platform.

Learning is flexible and completed via our online learning platform that allows learners to access self-paced learning anywhere and at any time. Our level 2 online courses take an average of 8 weeks to complete. Learning is completed at the learner’s pace, so they can be completed quicker or take more time if preferred.

Learners receive a full introduction to their course and our support team is also available to address any queries or concerns throughout the learning journey. Our platform tracks progress and provides notifications for assignment submission and marking feedback.
