We are proud to announce that we have recently celebrated a significant milestone in our apprenticeship provision!

Two apprentices, Katarzyna Nawrat and Kinga Monteiro from Baker & Baker, have successfully completed the Level 3 Supply Practitioner apprenticeship, both achieving distinctions! They are the first learners to pass this program with such high honours, setting a benchmark for future cohorts.

The Level 3 Supply Practitioner apprenticeship is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to excel in supply chain operations. This programme covers a range of competencies, including forecasting demand, working with hauliers and logistics partners, scheduling and rota planning, liaising with suppliers, analysing stock data and managing stock control levels.

Our Development Coach, Stuart Tingay, with Katarzyna.

Katarzyna said this about her experience as apprentice;

“During the apprenticeship I have learnt a lot about the supply chain and the whole process from purchasing ingredients to delivering finished orders. The most helpful things for my day-to-day duties were capacity planning and forecasting, but I was glad to learn some more about procurement and customer relations so I could see a bigger picture.

My whole experience with DBC was really good and the apprenticeship was thoroughly prepared. Stuart has been a brilliant trainer – he was very helpful and accommodating at all times and I was able to achieve distinction thanks to him.”

DBC Training congratulates Katarzyna and Kinga on their outstanding achievements and looks forward to celebrating more success stories in the future. Their journey underscores the potential of dedicated apprenticeships to shape the leaders of tomorrow in supply chain management.

Our Development Coach, Stuart Tingay, said this on the recent success;

“It’s been a pleasure to work with Baker & Baker and support Kinga and Katarzyna through their qualification. From the start they were both enthusiastic and keen to learn about the wider sector of the Supply chain industry. Their manager Dave was supportive and allowed time for them to research and complete the knowledge tasks. They both completed their Level 2 functional skills qualification, which is a great achievement as English is not their first language.

The projects they submitted were completed to a high standard, which as a result earned them both a Distinction. Very well done and well deserved.”
