DBC Training is proud to announce that we have been awarded the matrix Standard accreditation, recognising our commitment to delivering high-quality information, advice and guidance to learners and apprentices.

The matrix Standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG), either as their sole purpose or as part of their wider service offering.

Achieving this accreditation reflects DBC Training’s ongoing commitment to supporting individuals to develop their skills, achieve their qualifications and progress in their careers.

The assessment highlighted the quality of DBC Training’s delivery, the professionalism of its staff and the positive impact of its support on apprentices and employers.

The report stated:

“Employers interviewed consistently praised the quality of delivery and the high standard of support for apprentices’ achievement. DBC staff were noted for their professionalism and enthusiasm, while all employers mentioned their ‘can do’ attitude.”

The report also recognised DBC Training’s commitment to continuous improvement, highlighting how this is embedded throughout the organisation and reinforced by its values.

“The commitment to continuous improvement is embedded in all activities in delivery and reinforced by DBC values. Professional observations and the surrounding support for these is well-established and provides much confidence that staff are meeting expected standards and exceeding these.”

A key strength identified in the assessment was the support provided by DBC Training’s coaches, who play an important role in helping apprentices achieve their goals and make informed decisions about their futures.

The report noted:

“DCs provide consistently high quality support to apprentices and are key to the success experienced by apprentices and noted by employers interviewed. This coaching model is working very well and coaching has raised the standard of IAG.”
